I was never lucky enough to meet Arren in person, but I knew his work well. He was an outstanding young scientist, who in a short period of time left a big footprint on the field. I know I am only one of many to feel this way, his work impacted so many of us, across disciplines. Losing Arren so soon is a tremendous loss for science.
